https://www.jaycoowners.com/forums/f34/coax-connections-in-27dsrl-19274.html - On my trailer cable TV and the roof antenna share the same cable going to the same connection plate above the dinette with the antenna power booster then to a second plate in the bedroom.
The satellite cable is run separately with its own input connection on the trailer running to its own wall plate above the dinette with two connections on it like the one with the orange jumper cable in your trailer. There is a satellite cable running from the second connection on the wall plate to the wall plate for the satellite input in the bedroom. This jumper makes the cable one run and is used when placing the satellite receiver in the bedroom.
If I want the satellite receiver above the dinette I remove the jumper, connect the satellite receiver to the incoming cable, then I can connect the satellite receiver coax output to the second connection on the wall plate to send the satellite signal to a TV in the bedroom for connection to the television coax input. - Coax straight in from outside so you can hook up a satellite receiver, then run satellite receiver output to other connector to go to televisions.
Orange cable is so you can hook cable tv coax to outside coax and run it straight to the tv. One coax from outside does double duty. (I did something like that in my previous RV.)
In other words, replace the orange cable with your satellite receiver for satellite. Leave the orange wire for cable tv. - On mine it is a simple 2 connector wall plate with a loop cable connecting the two. One side comes directly from the outside coax connector for park cable or satellite. The other side connects to internal coax cable that goes to the antenna amp switch and on to the TVs.
Leave the loop on to route park cable signal to your internal wiring. Remove the loop, connect your satellite antenna outside, connect your satellite receiver to the appropriate coax on that all plate and get satellite TV. - Can't help you with your question, but I can help with your image....
- I have seen this on another new rig, probably so that someone can attach a Sat receiver without having to pull the power bx. Just open it up and look.
