I logged on today via Woodall's. That's because every time I try to log on via rv.net I get the following message:

"Our site is temporarily unavailable while we are making some necessary updates. We expect the updated website will be back online within the hour.

We are sorry for any inconvenience and appreciate your patience."

This has been going on for several days. What's going on here?

I think it belongs to "letters to the forum owners"
This is very powerful forum, lot of money at stake, while those who generate that money are ignored.
Is it so hard to post message about technical difficulties?
When I sign to the forum, I got flooded with sale emails, but nothing now.

Wow.. a post that should actually be moved in to Forum Technical Support.

Admin and moderators are quick to respond to all our other posts but never to ones about problems with the forum. Why is that?
Sprinkle a post with a troll, political comment, item for sale, etc, see how quick you get a response...

I've been getting that a lot on this forum only. So it's because I haven't deleted my cookies or something?

Yeah, toss your cookies, and everything will be better! :B

Only if you empty your black tank on the ground will that work.

I got here via Woodalls, but when I try rv.net, I can open the forum, but each time I click "log in" on top I am getting "connection refused" message.
Before clearing the cookies, I had automatic log in and I could never open rv.net forum.

Happened to me also, and several times over the last few days. But did not clear my cache. Just waited a little while and tried again and it worked. I assumed they really were working on the site.

Same here! It has been a couple of days now it works. No clearing cache. Seems like a programmer issue.

Not really a cache issue although that will fix it, it's the cache header they send in the headers. You just need to right click and select refresh and it should load the page.

its not your computer, its the web server.
Most times it returns a 403 error.
its not your cookies, or cache.
How many other website require to you to clear your cookies and cached to use it? NONE.
I guess management thinks this is off season so they might be tuning stuff up.

I was able to get in tonight, for the first time today, but not able to open a PM. I know it's free, but I did join their Roadside Assistance because of some good ratings here.

Facebook is getting more and more followers for various camping groups including TC's, if you don't mind all the ads.
