The so-called "Nigerian scams" are existing on almost any popular item with higher price tag.
Craigslit cut them down when doing email forwarding system, but they keep on trying.
The first tip - they are very polite.
Than it is good looking unit way below market value.
Then they will try to talk you into responding to given email, not via CL
Then they will give you a story that they are soldiers or whoever who just got contract in another country and have to leave in a hurry.
All you have to do is send them couple thousands deposit and their agent will deliver the unit.
Another trick is on buying your stuff. They will send you MO on way more than the price and then come with apologizing email saying that the accountant made and error and you should wire them the difference back.
