An F350 6.7 diesel would be a jewel.
Fish, OP is looking for a TV not an engagement ring! :B
That fiver is best towed with a real strong Tractor Engine Cummins/Asian 3500 DRW, will be a great fit.
Sorry Fish, the devil made me do it!!
There's nothing wrong with telling the truth. ;)
Agree!
The RAM has a true MediumDuty Cummins engine and a true MediumDuty Aisin transmission. Their towing claims are backed up by SAE J2807 standards. The others are just claims with nothing to back it up. CP3 injection pump VS questionable CP4 with the other two.
Majority of "independent" RV haulers/hotshotters choose RAM more than the others. Fish I said "independent" !
Open the hood on all three, that should clinch the deal for you.
Full Dislosure is the Ford truck is built in the USA by a USA company, but has a engine made in Mexico and the RAM truck is made in Mexico by a foreign company. This should be the clincher.
The F450 is J2807 certified which is basically a beefed up F350 and we've seen the performance of the '15 Fords F350 and F450 vs the RAM's in towing comparisons. Or perhaps this should clinch the deal.
Sorry but I want to say the devil made me say this...:B
BTW... I've yet to see a RAM hotshotter with a automatic transmission and not have the emissions deleted. Must be a reason :W
