Hola Great Friends, I'm honored to get your upbeat notes and replies and touching stories. Seems this last year has been a lesson for us, me in particular, on managing emotions. After touching new grand babies I no longer cry in my beer of having to move back to Phoenix. Well, not too much anyway. You hear from others what is the most important thing in life but until it comes through your door it's hard to put into perspective. I thought we could move away from the kids but I didn't see this one coming. "Esa es la manera que va." That's the way it goes...
Little Zoe is being held by our youngest daughter Jess, now Aunt Jess. Zoe will have open heart surgery on Feb, 19th for two separate issues. She almost didn't make it that far two weeks ago but quick action by great doctors and nurses and geniuses that make these incredible machines and technology that we use today have gotten her this far. Lynn and I both are sad that Phoenix Children's Hospital has to be so big, but we are recipients of their fantastic work. Even as we lose some things that I bemoan, dirt roads, a home in Durango, we gain other things with much more value. In this case a babies life. Thanks Friends, see you again soon I hope.
