Glad to hear the stork delivered your little pearls safely. Hope you're able to hold them both in your lap soon.
Beautiful photos of the country out there. I'd move out West in a heartbeat if it weren't for family ties here in the East. I'll be heading out to help a family member with a medical challenge here soon so I thoroughly understand your decision to re-relocate back to Phoenix.
We've had quite a bit of cold weather in the southeast over the last month and a half so I took a day off to do something I've wanted to do for quite some time ... photograph frozen waterfalls. Stopped first at Twin Falls at Rock Island SP. This falls is interesting as it came into existence only after a dam was built a ways upstream. Water impounded above the dam found a path through the limestone layers until it pours out forming Twin Falls.
Then I went on to Burgess Falls SP to look at some natural falls.
Not much ice was seen at Middle Falls:
Several small side falls were quite frozen though:
And finally the largest, Lower Falls, albeit in poor light for photography:
I pray that spring time brings healing for you and yours.
Phyllis
