Wheel size
Looking at getting a second set of wheels/tires for summer use. Vehicle is a '01 F250 CCSB diesel 4x4, stock 16" wheels. Wondering what would be better for towing use, staying with 16" wheels or g...

It's getting tougher to find decent looking 16s, but I much prefer the cost of rubber on them!
I recommend figuring out what overall size you want for a tire, then look at which wheels support that size and who's cheapest. 17" tires are pretty cheap and widely accessible. 18" tires are pretty common now as well. I like to go on Tirerack and pick a tire and compare the overall sizes available on a tire across different rim sizes.
