Wheel Well Insulation Tape

Hello,
In the wheel well I have some, what looks like insulation cover (it is thin and black), hanging down over the tire. What is the best way to tape it back up, or other than taping method, to repair.
Thanks,
Karl
  • Thanks, I haven't had a blow out, just looks like it fell down at the seam. I'll see what i get ahold and give them a go. Thanks - Karl

My material was cut up a little from a blowout.
I used Windex to clean everything up. I'm talking, very clean.
    Use Gorilla Tape.
Pressed the tape very firm to get a good "stick".
After about 3 years ago and still holding, very well.

I also had damage from a tire when the springs broke and the frame sagged. Amazingly, the tire survived 100 miles while rubbing against the wheel well! (cheap Chinese Powermax by the way) but the wheel well didn't. I cleaned it very well with degreaser then acetone and covered the damage with Eternabond tape. Seems to be lasting quite well, 2 years later.
  • Thanks Pat, I'll be giving it a try this weekend. Happy rving. Karl
