Where to get storage pods for Lance 815
I'm ready to mount my Lance 815 on my SB Ram however it was set up for a LB and doesn't have the rear storage pods that mount the brake lights when used on a SB.
I saw a pair on CL awhile back before I had the camper so I didn't get them. Haven't seen any since.
I called Lance and since they don't make the 815 any longer, their supplier doesn't make the pods.
They are roughly 15"w x 16"d x 18"h. I though about having them fabricated out of diamond plate material with a nice locking door and mount trailer lights into the back.
The camper is prewired and has a flat 4 plug on each side so a simple set of trailer lights should work. I hate to see what someone will charge to make these, but when available they were around $500 from Lance.
Also thought about asking someone selling their SB 815 to remove them and sell them to me.
Or, sell it and buy a new 865!!
Any other ideas?
