Who checks their oil?
After doing an oil change? Do ya dump in the reccomended amount of oil, put the cap on, slam the hood down and takeoff? Or do you check to make sure it reads right on the dipschtick?

I always check mine at oil change but rarely afterwards. I would probably check the truck more often if I didn't need a ladder to do it but to be honest it is rare that any of my vehicles need oil between changes. The most trouble that I have had was when I had a dealer change my oil. They not only couldn't hit the full mark but had a bucket full of excuses on why. To them the fact that I can with the right amount of oil was just proof of my incompetence.
