I looking to buy a RV cover to protection my 24' travel trailer. There are lots of covers out there but I don't have a clue what I should be looking for. Any recommendations would be helpful.

Look at ALASKATENT.COM. Custom made (for-real) heavy-duty CUSTOM MADE tarps.

Expensive I assume.

I've owned 3 ADCO covers for three different trailers - an AquaShed for our hybrid, a Tyvek for our 24' KZ Spree, and now a Tyvek Designer Series for our 19' TT. None have shown any signs of wear, even the Tyvek which covered our Spree over 4 winters ... the Tyvek Designer protecting our current Freedom Express has now been through two Canadian winters and when I removed it on Sat I saw no signs of wear or deterioration. The key is to take the time when installing the cover to pad all sharp edges and snug it down sufficiently that it can't blow excessively whenever the wind may come up. I've been totally satisfied with the ADCO covers I've owned and wouldn't hesitate to buy another should the need ever arise. :B

Adco is probably the best bang for the buck, very satisfied with mine.Trick with covers is making sure it fits correctly, if it's too big it's gonna flap around and tear and leave wear marks on the camper.

My ADCO lasted one year. Hot sun, freezing winter with snow. Lots of wind. There was literally nothing left of it

ADCO Aqua-shed has been working for me over 10 years now... Looks like heck, with all the black streaks and MOSS all over it, but no tears and the zippers still work and still 'breaths' just fine... ๐Ÿ™‚

It's parked under trees and I live in WA State, so that's why it has MOSS on it..

I've been saying I was going to get a new one for the last couple of years, but I just keep rolling it up and storing it and bring it out at the end of the season and go another year! ๐Ÿ™‚

Good luck with whatever you get.

We had a cheapo non-woven (probably the Chinese version of Tyvec) first, and it barely made it through it's warranty before it fell apart. We have had Sunbrella (made in the USA) since then on two different trailers, and they hold up very well. In addition to the material, the fit is very important, and if you get a stock cover that happens to fit, go for it. We ended up with CalMark covers - made in the USA to your measurements - and they fit perfectly.

We are on our third trailer with the current trailer being a '07 model. We have ordered ADCO covers from CW for each one. The first one had a Sunbrella roof and some other light weight fabric on the sides with a latex like coating on the back side. In a couple of years the Texas sun had caused the back side coating to flake off. ADCO redid the sides in Sunbrella and we had no more issues with it. The last two trailers have been all Sunbrella and have held up well.

You could search this Forum for `RV Cover' and read on. We use a Sunshield tarp as previously posted.

I hate to be the guy who goes against the grain, but!

I purchased my Adco about three minus years ago from CW, at a good price, and wrote a review about one year later. It was never posted because it was so critical of the poor material. Mine has many, many, many patches and they are not my fault.

Do this, look at the reviews on CW then look at the reviews on Amazon you would think they are generally talking about a completely different product. God love CW but they are not completely honest on their allowed review postings. My MH is in So Cal about 5 miles from the coast, not in a windy, rainy, snowy or other harsh climate. I just said to my wife this morning, when it comes off this time it will have to be trashed.

X2.
Mine is 10 years old and has a few rips and holes in it but that is my fault.
I recommend one with the white (Tyvek?) top for better moisture protection.
