Given the comment about the fact that RVs substantially outnumber truck campers at campgrounds, I wonder if at least part of the reason might be the name of the forum: "RV.net". It may appear to some that this forum would cater more toward the RV crowd rather than the truck camper crowd and that the extent of TC discussions would be minimal.
I personally like the dialog and even the debates of 2WD vs 4WD, hardside vs popup, Chevy/Ford/Dodge, etc. IMHO, a person often learns more from somebody that disagrees with them compared to somebody that agrees with them. To make good decisions, it is important to have as many issues exposed as possible.
