Wildwood trailers by Forest River

We were looking at some new models today and would like to hear from any one who has one.
Are you satisfied with it?
If you have had any problems were they easily rectified?

I would like to hear comments; both good and bad

Also, looking at their brochure; does the total length include the portion that comes out to the tongue jack or just the living portion?

  • Why don't you try the Forest River Owners Group "FROG" forum site. http://www.forestriverforums.com/
  • We purchased a 2015 Wildwood 28DBUD in February and are very happy with it so far. We made a total of 6 trips this spring and summer including a long trip from NC to south FL and all has gone well. Our only warranty claim so far was for a switch that controls the front power stabilizers. I didn't want to bother towing it over to the dealer for something so minor, so they just sent a new switch directly to me and I installed it in a few minutes. The overall fit and finish is very good. I'd say just make sure you look it over very closely before you sign the papers, just like you would if you were buying a house. All RVs are put together in a "very expeditious" manner, so things can be missed.
  • The brochure measurement will be the entire length including bumper to hitch ball. The box is about 3 ft less. Don't know about that brand but I can definitely vouch for the Keystone Bullet Ultralight. I have a 2014 Bullet 285RLS and we love it! It has not had a single malfunction and even though only 5500 lbs for a 30 ft box, it is very luxurious inside... Check out their website or visit your local Keystone Bullet dealer... I have heard only positives from other Bullet owners on this site as well! Happy hunting!
