Wingman antenna booster wont fit

I was looking at Winegards youtube video on installing the Wingman and I went up on the roof of my tc and saw there is only a 3 inch clearance from the antenna and the air conditioner, so the antenna can not be completely lowered with the wingman installed. Has anybody else come across the problem and if so has anyone found a solution? Thanks, Lou
  • I had a clearance problem with the Wingman also

So I opted to put a Jack on

I then went with the Rayzar as you can see it fits in the same space.
I opted not to put it on the supplied 13 In. arm. I kept one arm of the Winegard mast and mounted it that way, there are instructions in the kit,it is very easy to do. This way I had it in the same space and got the maximum height when deployed.

The Bi-Directional feature is great and easier to use than the Jack and I get a few more stations.

Like said above the JACK Antenna will be a direct replacement for your BATWING antenna. Fits same mounts and uses same RG cable coming up from the Antenna Wall Plate panel. You will not need to use the JACK supplied 12VDC power injector adapter.

  • I took the bat wings off my Winegard crank up antenna and installed the Jack. The Jack is made to mount to the existing Winegard lift arm and its much more compact.
  • It is a problem on my class A as well and others have reported the same issue. NO answer to the problem with a WInegard product.
SOme have reported good results using his
