- LuvsElvisExplorerIf you would like pictures of my installation of the Rear View Safety 2 camera setup PM me your email and I will send them to you.
- Ray552ExplorerI to would like to see pictures of what it looks like. How easy is it to connect /disconnect 2nd camera. I saw many wireless for sale but heard a lot about wireless not working or having interference.
I would rather have a wireless as I would like to put the camera on the back of several different trailers.
I think having a back up camera that would show the hitch would be great. I also think having a camera on the back of the trailer would be extremely helpful when backing whether it is the 35 ft TT/ 25 ft stock or the gooseneck 30 footer. - wmosesExplorer

It comes on automatically on the hitch and then I toggle to the rear camera.
Any chances of getting photos of the spare tire mount, the connection and the dash installation of the monitor? My biggest concern is with the installation of the monitor in the truck cab and the increased temptation for thieves to break in.
I sent you a PM. - LuvsElvisExplorerI installed a two camera system from Rear View Safety. I tried two Iball wireless and had interference with both. They said it was due to Bluetooth, Onstar, Sirius, etc. Don't know for sure. Anyway, I got the hard wired system and have no interference. I put one camera on the truck with a license plate mount for the hitch with grid. The second I mounted on the spare tire cover of my Flagstaff TT. Only hole I drilled was in the cover of the spare. It comes with quick disconnect from TT to Truck. Seven inch monitor mounted under the radio on the dash. I had it installed at a truck accessories dealer to the ignition/run switch. It comes on automatically on the hitch and then I toggle to the rear camera. I love being able to see what is coming up behind me and how fast they are traveling. Takes the worry out of changing lanes. I can also see much better when backing the TT. I would highly recommend having two. It is so easy to back under the hitch every time. They are infrared as well and is really good for hitching up in the wee hours of the AM before the sun comes up. The wife loves not having to guide me to the hitch as well.
- 1budaExplorerI wonder if anyone installed a camera behind their TT. Just to see who (popo)/what is behind you?
- beemerphile1ExplorerCheckout the Buckeye X7D Wireless Camera it is supposed to be good with a great range.
$699 but over 5 Megapixel resolution, 75 infrared LEDS, and comes complete with a 4' power cable to connect to the camera, standard antenna, and all necessary mounting hardware.

I think the problem here is called crochety...
You think I am crotchety do you? If I was not then I may be getting there now.
Your post shows you apparently know little about the myriad of options and configurations for wireless setups out there. You know what they say about a little knowledge ...
The point I was making was that his post - title included, which I did read - gave no hint what he wanted to achieve. That was the bare minimum.
And the I-ball camera is not even scratching the surface of all possibilities. I too am looking for a wireless setup and the I-ball is not what I am looking for. - gajd33ExplorerWe just bought one a few months ago. We settled on a package we bough on amazon from Rearview Safety. You may want to give this RV backup camera a read. Talks about the expensive options right down to the cheaper ones.

What research have you done so far? What exactly are you hoping to achieve? How intrusive you want to be with the installation? How much money are you willing to spend? Are you handy with installing electronics and such?
Fully state the problem and you may get a solution. :)
I think the problem here is called crochety... - camperdaveExplorertrailer folks with the i cam, does it work on the back of the trailer too? I like that it's magnetic and easy to move around, I'll try it out if I hear a few folks tell me it transmits OK from the back of their trailer as well as from the back of the truck.
