World friendship converter

I have a WF8955AN WPL 55 amp converter in my ROO. Does anyone know what that would convert to in watts? Trying to figure for insurance which would have an effect on the worth of the rig.
I don't want to under insure but neither do I want to over insure since they won't honor more than book value.
Thanks for any assistance given.

    You can add the NADA values, but they're bogus and only used by dealers to inflate their price and then give you a deal. Last time I priced my '06 Roo 23SS it was only worth about $2000 less than I paid for it 9 years ago! Love to sell it for that price!

    NADA wholesale is all you should pay for a used camper. Without adding the "options."

    the converter wouldn't be an option and the Roo never had an optional converter offered.

    if you're using NADA for values, you aren't supposed to be adding value for things that are standard, even if it happens to be listed as an option on their list.

    things like awning, microwave, oven, a/c, and so on, are often standard "options" that you would get anyway. you would have to order it, from the factory, without one of these so-called "options". they're often a part of a "package".

    so, you can't add value for these things, UNLESS it's an upgrade, like getting a 15k a/c, instead of the 13.5k standard a/c.

    Ahh, I was using a 120volt calculation rather than 12volt. That's why my findings was way off kilter. Thanks for setting me straight.

    It has to do with the base price plus options that leads to the overall value of the trailer. The 236 came with several options that would add to the base price.

    What we all incorrectly call the "converter" is actually the power distribution panel and the converter itself is a just a little box deep inside it. The one in question will handle 55 amps DC power. Wattage depends on the voltage and this converter has a variable voltage output of at least 13.2v or 726 watts.     WFCO converters are probably the most common OEM converters in the RV industry.
    they aren't considered anywhere as good as the main one many upgrade to, Progressive Dynamics converters.
    but they are considered better than some other OEM ones.
    there are a lot of negative reviews of WFCO converters but i think that's because so many RV's are equipped with them from the factory.
    our WFCO converter has worked perfectly for over 7 years, knock on wood.

    The WPL is part of the model number. I said amps but went back in and corrected. What I meant to say is watts. Sorry 'bout that.

    The WF8955AN 55 AMP COnverter will have 55 AMPS DC OUTPUT.

    I have no idea what the WPL in your description line means...
