Providing the truck has an acceptable payload capacity, would a front carrier like this work okay? And wouldn't it help to get more weight back onto the steer axle anyway?I've been wondering for quite a while, I have a small vintage car that I would love to take to a meet down in Oregon along with our TT. The car would only weigh another 100-200 lbs more than a Harley, is under 8' long front to back plus our F250 could handle the extra weight. With a custom built carrier this would work, right? I could easily see through the side windows, unlike the bike in the photo. I've got a MIG welder and can weld pretty good too. Not sure about getting up Grants Pass tho.

I believe DOT rules allow you to have protrusion 3 ft beyond the front bumper. It cannot block lights and on the rear at night and may not overhang over 4 ft. without flags in daytime and lights at night

joking aside, I have seen a lot of folks put a hitch rack on the front and have 3-500lbs on it and maybe more.

dirt bikes, genys and 55gl water tanks.

Why not just use the small car to tow like the Railroad does as a helper unit on mountains? You're wife ain't doin anything but giving directions, put her to work.

Well, so here's the deal....

Yes it is April Fools day! Also happens to be my birthday. And here I thought that nobody would've caught on. Was fun while it lasted. See ya'll same time next year. :B

I do like the idea of helium in the tires, lol. While looking for a photo to use, I came across an idea. What if you were towing a backhoe or skid steer loader on a flat deck trailer, could you lift the shank & ball on the truck up and reduce tongue weight? I've got a year to find a suitable pic for that one.
