Your next outing??

This weekend we are dry camping at a casino to take in the evening entertainment. Our next trip will be also be at a casino but with full hookups on a saltwater bay. There is a small town to visit and views are great.

Is it just me or do the Bodie rangers tend to “close” at any whim? When does a day pass in California without an earthquake?

I'd planned two major stops on my trip and Bodie was one of them.

I'd even bought extra batteries for my camera.

I am looking forward to going back.

I saw a spot several years ago, even before I bought my first camper and thought, what a great place to camp.

I'll be heading there my first time out this year.

Me three..I almost loaded the camper yesterday when it was nice out but didn't because it is so much easier to do the front window and front cap sides with it off,but it's just a little too cold now...It's never leaked but I want to get up close with it to see any trouble spots if there are any...

I know this is in the TC section, but that is where I started here, so I still come back and read regularly. We miss some of the places we were able to go before, and just can't now.

We didn't get near what we got last year and just north a 100 miles or so got tons.

I've got the bug to go camping bad.

Just because you don't have a TC is no reason not to post here.

In the Black Hills we have had a bumper crop of snow this year also.
We are going to the fifth wheel to haul some stuff to it in preparation for the season. Our first time out will be in a couple weeks, and might be a state campground with electicity, or hopefully, on BOR land.

I just now took this one looking out my front door. I'm at 6100 ft.
Up on the Tusher Mountain there is currently 44" of snow, half of what we had up there last year.

Funny to see that much snow, when my swimming pool reached 65F yesterday.
With good weather today, I am opening swimming season.
