Large Truck Campers: how practical?

More like Lances bad businesses decision trying to expect people to buy TC's when they are buying Campertrailers, Hybrid Caravans and Off Road Caravans. They even resorted to making a large Australian built TC but to no avail.

No fuel mileage better than a F350-F450. No not better than a F150 for small TC's

You are thinking of ones built on European Trucks they are large and yes non US owners do take them Off Road.
Leave you with a Truck Camper photo that is unique to Australia. This is a Australian designed and built Chrysler Valiant with a 265 cu in straight six( not slant) "ute" with a Millard TC. Millard still makes an updated all compasite version. This photo dates from the 1970's

most, if they in fact do get good milage (what do they get) then that's one out of 3 wrong which is some at best, I would say I'm mostly right haha. but the issue I had is this is about large truck campers then someone posts motorhomes, let's try to stay on topic ;).

I'll also add they are pretty much useless where I live, they will never fit in the off-road places as they're way too tall. well, I guess they might work if you want to have someone on the roof with a chain saw as you drive thought the trailer, and someone ahead making the turns wider. the only time we see those are when some rich guy ships them across the ocean to the countries he is visiting and stays on the highway and in campground

It can do that as an Expedition vehicle here it is as a TC. No you cannot buy them in the US. Truck payload is 10,000lbs GVWR goes to 15,500lb
