while looking at new campers for an upgrade , I came across THIS .  I remember looking at an 820 and thinking they did a nice job, but found out the 920 was discontinued.  well now its back and better than before.  not exactly what I am looking for as its way to heavy,  but I do like how they designed it and there are no options.  comes factory with everything even the 930 watts of solar and the 810AH of lithium batteries.

We went a saw one in person in Arizona, a bit of a let down.  All the cabinetry are connected with what look like IKEA type joints covered in a silly plastic round cover.  If you look at any video you can easily see them.  I am talking over 100 easily seen around the camper.  These plastic caps are not the same color as the walls or cabinets so they stick out like a sore thumb, plus several were already lying on the floor, they WILL rattle off as you drive down the road.  $90+K for that kind of construction, plus some of the kitchen cabinet doors will not aligned with each other.  At that price point I want excellence in all areas.

well thats a disapointment.  The 820 I looked at a year or two ago was that "euro" style with the curved counter doors and such but they looked deicently built.

I just watched a video to see what you are talking about, Ya I saw the fastener covers, but to me it looks like it is anywhere you may have to service for the alde system or major electrical.  for example the kitchen doesnt realy have any but any of the radiant areas along the floor have it.  also the upper storage over the table, I wonder if that is optional or has to be removed for spicific maintenance.  I actualy like it that they made it easier to remove interior things to work on the unit, but I do agree they could have matched the color, or maybe they were going for that same famly color contrast who knows, it wouldnt be a deal killer to me.  as for them popping out, I imagin some wern't put in properly at the factory, usaly thoes things are hard to get out in the best situations.

but to me this unit ticks a lot of boxes but yet has a lot of things I don't want in a camper.  it could have been so much more than it is if they would have stayed away from the electric range or inductive cook top and compressor fridge.  plus only one propane tank.  this is a weekend boondocker at best, maybe a bit longer if you watch your power usage, or in the summer..  a second propane tank, the ability to cook with propane and cool your food with propane would have been awsome.  and that could be as simple as a stove with one propane burner and one induction.

The 920 has the rear bathroom that I know you're not a fan of, but that really opens up the cabover bedroom with better ventilation than just a narrow entrance.  Boy it does seem really heavy for its size, but they are probably being closer to "honest" than everyone else's unicorn dream dry weights that are often off by over 1,000 pounds.

ya when you concider it only comes in one format, "every option included" the weight seams about right.

I wish there would be an industry standard with weighing truck campers and trailers.  some weight them at the factory full of water and propane and call that the weight, some weight the basic modle and list that as a dry weight, and some even use the old standare where the base model will weight XXXX when contains 35L of water, 30lbs of propane, 5lbs of regrigerant and so one but that doesnt include options most times.

because it doen't have wheels and doesnt need registration its what ever they want.  I wishe they would be required to list a GVRW so you know what the max weight can be.
