Hello,

I have a 1999 Elkhorn 11xx truck camper. One of the Atwood jacks just died when the motor hit resistance it die and stop lifting.  I tried to find a new jack but found out they were obsolete.   As my wife loves the camper we decided to buy the Riecon jacks.  The salesman stated great choice as they now have remote control.  I am concerned as I think I am somewhat a handy man but I am not sure.  Does anyone have any experience installing a new set of jacks?

I am not sure about the Atwood connectors, but the Rieco use standard bullet connectors. The bolt pattern is the same for both to mount them. You should be able to use your old Atwood controller and remote if it still functions. You can use existing wiring and put in a new controller, but that can be phase 2 of your project.
