Yesterday was "gut the camper" day. When I bought my Bronco pop-up, the previous owner had cut the LP gas line....and since I was basically looking for a "hard-sided tent" anyway, I didn't care about the disabled gas. Then I found out the fridge didn't work on 120v, so yesterday, the fridge, the furnace, and the stovetop all got yanked. I now have TONS of storage in my kitchen ;-)
And I re-purposed part of the stovetop: as I disassembled it, it dawned on me that the lower pan would easily hold a microwave and keep it from falling off the countertop; or it would provide an extra drawer for utensils? So I stripped all the burner components off it; and will use a large 24" x 18" plastic cutting board as the top. The whole thing will lift out, so I can peer down into the lower cabinets. Those things that hide far in the back will now be visible....LOL!
