Installed a second slide out switch near the cabover. Will come in handy when stealth camping. Also when I enter the TC to turn on the battery disconnect (which is under the sink), I can open the slide out while standing near the cabover, without walking back to the entrance door. This is another one of those features that should be standard from the factory.

I heard some clunking from the drivers side front of the truck on bumps. Lower bolt on the Rancho was a hair loose and let the shock eye hit the frame mount. I tightened that up right quick. Changed the oil and topped off the power steering fluid. I'm going to dump and flush the fresh water tank in a few minutes, have to remember to go get the propane tanks filled. We leave in 10 days for the USDF Region 7 Dressage Championships at the Los Angeles Equestrian Center. Staying at the Facility in the TC for a week.

I made my own brackets out of aluminum.

I'll take pictures later today if anyone is interested in seeing them!

Installed a piezoelectric igniter and got rid of the old turn to light noise maker. Bought the unit from Walmart for $13, add one $2.99 switch from radio shack and about 3hrs labor. Now I have quiet push button ignition for my stovetop burners and my oven. Before we had to get on our hands and knees, holding the oven knob in while applying flame to the pilot light.

Did some things since last time:

* installed Blue Sky 2512ix with ipn proremote and 500amp shunt (no solar yet)
* rewired main battery lines with somewhere between 1 and 0 AWG (actually European 50mmยฒ) together with the shunt of the 2512ix
* replaced bad battery (now have 2 Trojan 27TMX batteries instead of one with an other brand marine battery, which came with the RV when I bought it)
* camco cyclone vent on grey water tank (result unknown at this time)

The maxxair vent covers with opened vents, ofcourse, pull air out of the interior and if the under-pressure gets too big, it sucks air through the P-traps, through the grey water tank and through the tank vent where fresh air is sucked inside. By doing that the interior fills itself with grey water smell. By installing a cyclone vent, I assume that the tank and interior will get about the same under-pressure, so it won't try to suck air through the tank vent and P-traps anymore. Before installing that I tried just about anything, like opening a window a little, half, all the way, window in the front, window in the back, one roof vent open, another vent open, both vents open,... I also searched here and that's how I found the cyclone vent solution. Hope it works.

The door window trim/frame finally gave up and was cracking everywhere after 23 years. So I purchased a new window frame.....in the process of replacing it. Pulled it apart, cleaned and repainted the door, next is clean the window up and reinstall with the new frame assembly.

Thank you. The bottom is 2x2 angle iron and the top came from what was originally along the bottom. 3/4x one inch.
