Springtime Preparations

Navigator II

I'm getting antsy (is that a real word?) to start getting my camper ready for the upcoming camping season as the days lengthen and get warmer.  Over the winter I purchased a new cover to go over the cabover roof vent.  The opaque smoke cover has been sun faded into a dull brown blob on the roof, so I'm replacing it with a bright new white cover.  The exact same model number, other than color, but I can visually see the quality has dropped with the omission of the bug screens on the inside of the louvered vents. I contacted MaxxAir to confirm if it was no longer including screens.  I also plan to do my annual inspection and re-seal around all of the exterior lights, vents, windows, doors, and of course the roof.  I plan on removing the winter cover on the first of March and giving the camper a good wash and wax and do operational testing of everything (refer, furnace, stove/oven, water pump, water heater, lights, receptacles, fans, and the powered jacks).  I'm really impressed on how well the camper has held up over the years as this summer will be its twelfth summer season.  IMG_4172.jpgIMG_4174.jpg
