I'm getting antsy (is that a real word?) to start getting my camper ready for the upcoming camping season as the days lengthen and get warmer. Over the winter I purchased a new cover to go over the cabover roof vent. The opaque smoke cover has been sun faded into a dull brown blob on the roof, so I'm replacing it with a bright new white cover. The exact same model number, other than color, but I can visually see the quality has dropped with the omission of the bug screens on the inside of the louvered vents. I contacted MaxxAir to confirm if it was no longer including screens. I also plan to do my annual inspection and re-seal around all of the exterior lights, vents, windows, doors, and of course the roof. I plan on removing the winter cover on the first of March and giving the camper a good wash and wax and do operational testing of everything (refer, furnace, stove/oven, water pump, water heater, lights, receptacles, fans, and the powered jacks). I'm really impressed on how well the camper has held up over the years as this summer will be its twelfth summer season.

I had to do a couple of my vent covers a couple years back. problem with mine is it is so old no one makes the exact unit anymore so it is either replace the whole vent or buy a genaric cover and make it work with my hardware. last year I had to reseal the cabover emergency exit, I wanted to put one of thoes new fancy Heki ones in it but I almost choked when I saw the price of them, so I think I will just put a hangs vent into the bathroom of the camper since we won't be upgrading for a couple years now. I had to buy a new car to comute to work and back so that in biting into my camper budgit haha.

I am stoked. We are in Boston area but camp in NH Lakes region. I literally just bought an CL water filter, a couple tap lights, and rv toilet paper today. Just cause I was walking by it. We have a seasonal site. Can’t wait for April.
happy travels
