Cost me nothing and the computer needed flashed and some upgrades. The engine preformance is not a MH dealer issue. Its the chassis manufacturers responsibility.Re: deisel regenGot the 23TR back today. Some of the computer needed rewriten. If this just involved a reboot type operation I do not know. But at this time it continues to run great and seems a bit quieter engine wise. I will have to see what happens in the future. The good side of this, now I have to plan a nice 3-4 day trip to test it out. Thanks for the replies. This is aways a great place to learn from the best.Re: deisel regenAll you 3.2 Ford TD owners should take heed. I have mine at the Ford dealers now due to excessive regens. Appears the issue may be a little deeper. They are suspecting a turbo boost problem and Ford engineers are working on a solution. The engine runs fine but just goes through the regen too often and once lost power in the process. Whatever they have to do to correct the problem I will post when I get it back.Re: deisel regen ScottG wrote: That's way too many regens. Time to take it to the dealer - there may be some updates for it. I will be making an appointment tomorrow, Thanksdeisel regenWe purchased a 2017 Gemini 23TR with the Powerstroke 3.2 engine. I have put about 5000 miles on it since April. The engine runs great however, on a recent trip coming through Kansas I seemed to lose power. I got a "Regen"message on the info screen that said to keep driving. 30 minutes later nothing had imprioved so I pulled it over, idled for a few minutes and shut off the engine. When I started back up it went back to the same message but my power level was back. Within 10 minutes the message went off the screen. About 2 hours I went through the same thing. This time I shut down for a few minutes right after I got the message. The rest of the way back to California I got the message about every 200 - 300 miles but the screen just said keep driving and I never lost power again. Being a Cummins owner the past 15 years I never went through this. Is it normal for a Power Stroke? Other than that it ran flawlessly. I was wondering if I haadn't picked up some crappy fuel.Re: Class C ford transit frameJust made it back from the third outing and I like it more every time. And alas, everything serviced and working well. Two trips into the mountains and the little diesel performed great. 15.6 MPG so far.Re: Can't fill my built-in propane tankGreat Post. something for everyone to look for. I learn something new every day.Re: There Should Be 3 Variations Of Super C's! bagman wrote: You make a valid point! Also, a B+ Motor Home is actually built on a class C chassis, Ford or Chevy, but not as wide or as tall and without the cabover bunk or pod. Yet we call it a B+, but to me, it is more like a C-. Bags. I agree with you. We just purchased a Gemini 23TR and the dealer called it a Class C. On an advertisement it is referred to as a B+. However it has no features really of the van based B+ except for the cab. From behind the seats it is all RV but without the overhead bunk. I believe the proper term now for this design is RUV, Recreation Utility Vehicle. I like your Classification better, C- fits.Re: It is with a sad heart that I bid all of you adieuCongrats on the Airstream. I wonder if there are any RV's anywhere that haven't looked admiringly at an Airstream.Re: Downsizing? We travel more than camp so the smaller units make since for us. Plus we get good fuel milage and can go about anywhere. Since we paid less than 62K we can justify a night or two in a hotel if we would prefer. The best trips we ever had where back in the 80's with our custom van. Since then we have had 2 TT's and a 5th wheel. We haven't had our 23' Gemini out yet except a overnight shakedown but I think it will fit the bill for us.
