Ok good advice so far thanks all. I'm not as concerned about the maintenance or the longevity as I have a couple diesel trucks and am versed in that. I currently have a 2012 Georgetown 351ds on the ford chassis and coming over from a fifth wheel I love the convenience of a class A. The one thing that I have found after our last long trip is that while it is great when we get to our destination the ride comfort is just not as enjoyable. Suspension, road noise engine noise etc. My question is to those who may have had a similar coach and then switched to a diesel pusher. Is the ride much more pleasurable to outweigh the cost? Even in an older model? My budget would allow something in the 06-10 range from what research I have done so I'm wondering if coaches from that era will give much more comfortable travel time as we plan on a cross country trip within the next few years. Ok so here's an update after everyone's advice we have been checking constantly for the past 5 days and I managed to book 3 separate reservations so far. On Sunday I lucked into openings on the 20-21st, on Monday I was able to catch the 19th and on Tuesday morning I lucked upon the 22nd. Who Hoo!!!!! The title sounds great but we've always gone down in September and finding a spot was never an issue. Well we discovered that there's not a single spot available and that most people make this reservation a year in advance. So my question is, does anyone have an inside info about how to get on a waiting list? At Disney they say only way is to call everyday to see if there is a cancellation. I made the same switch 2 years ago. From 40" bunkhouse 5ver over to a 2012 Georgetown 351 35' gas. We love it. No power problems at all. Been from NY to Disney twice. Planning a trip out west this year. I stayed with gas mainly because the amount of vacation I can take didn't justify the added diesel expense. I fixed it!! Thanks for everyone's help. I finally located the inverter by pulling apart the walls in the underneath storage. All 3 30amp fuses were blown and a 15 am that powers the surround sound system was blown. I replaced them and all is good now!!!!!!!381Views0likes0Comments
