I've spoke with the GSRA administrator, who was very cordial and assured me that their goal was to eventually have a 100% satisfied public. Certainly an unattainable, but nevertheless, a lofty goal. I honestly believe that they are really trying. Posts like yours, mine, and others who have had similar issues are important to them. They do absolutely monitor this site. I hope that you never need them again. Safe, happy, and uneventful RVing to you and yours.Re: 12 Volt Receptacle on TTThanks Doug, I hadn't thought about trolling motor plugs. They are certainly more heavy duty. I have a trolling motor on my pontoon boat that I use to fish for Redfish and Speckled Trout in the Indian River here on Florida's east coast but completely overlooked that idea. Thanks again. MikeRe: 12 Volt Receptacle on TTThanks for your input, Matt and Guy. It will certainly be considered in my final decision. I wish for you both a healthy and happy week-end. MikeRe: 12 Volt Receptacle on TTThanks for the photos of the plugs and suggestions on where and how to run the wire. However, it appears that it will be much easier to run it alongside the frame with a heavier gauge wire. The fuse panel is located inside, mid-coach. Thank you.Re: 12 Volt Receptacle on TTThank you all for your suggestions! They all sound like what I had hoped to hear. I will post, within the next few weeks, the results of my efforts per your suggestions. Again, I really appreciate all of your responses. I wish for you all a healthy and happy upcoming week-end.Re: 12 Volt Receptacle on TThmknightnc, Thank you very much for the info. What is your suggestion as to where and how I would mount the receptacle to the trailer? You mentioned a convenient place but I'm clueless as to where. The bumper, drill through the trailer skin, etc.??, I'm baffled at my own ignorance. Also what gauge wire would you suggest that I use since it will be at least 29' to the battery? Before I became a senior citizen many years ago, I think that I could have figured it out. I'm embarrassed. Have a good evening and thank you.Re: 12 Volt Receptacle on TTPeg Leg, Primarily on the outside. I should have been more specific. Plus, at night, if disabled, I could plug in a 12 volt strobe type light as an additional source of recognition/warning from oncoming traffic.12 Volt Receptacle on TTGood evening, I'm brand-new to this forum and appreciate your patience until I learn the rules. I'd like to install a 12 volt/cigarette lighter-type receptacle on the rear of my TT. From time to time I need a 12 volt work light, etc., at the rear of the trailer. It's a 2009, 29' aluminum Jayco G2 Jay Flight Series (all season) trailer. Any and all suggestions, positive and/or negative will be appreciated. Thank you.Re: GSRA and Jack Rabbit NetworkGood morning Rob, Please see my earlier post about my conversation with Frank from the GSRA team. Thank you for your interest. MikeRe: GSRA and Jack Rabbit NetworkGood Morning, Per his commitment to me via his post, Frank, from Good Sam Club's GSRA Team, personally contacted me regarding my issues with the GSRA. He was very concerned that GSRA had not met my expectations. He apologized and assured me that they were continually working to improve the program. He was very patient, articulate, and genuinely interested in listening and, understanding, my complaints. After speaking with him, I truly believe that he cared about me and all of the other GSRA members. In closing, he again assured me that he and his team were constantly working to improve the service. I was both pleased and relieved by his call. Again, thanks for letting me vent.
