All ActivityMost RecentMost LikesSolutionsBeen gone for awhileGlad to be back on this forum, been awhile, sold our 5th wheel a year ago. Been a rough year with no outings, but back again, just with a TT now! Purchased a new Coleman Lantern series bunk house in hopes our daughter and family will join us on some trips! First short trip in the books, small issues which we kinda expected, mattress left a lot to be desired, think we will try a memory foam topper. Getting used to TT versus 5th wheel is a challenge, using a equalizer hitch and watching the loading is helping! Again glad to be back on this forum, travel safe everyoneRe: Slide keep stopping when retractingThank you for the information, tried to by more than a 50 circuit breaker today and had no luck . Will just replace with same size (50amp) until I can find a larger one! Thanks again!B&W HitchAssembled our new Companion Hitch today, hooked up to our 5er and towed it for a few miles, the coupling and uncoupling were the best I have seen. The hitch is quiet and smooth. I am very impressed so far !Slide keep stopping when retractingOur 2009 Montana has developed a problem and I bet ours is not the only one ! Our main slide keeps stopping when we retract it. The hydraulic oil tank is full, I read an article some time ago about this same issue but am unable to remember where or how to fix issue. Any help?Re: RAM 2500 HitchHad a similar issue, involved a Reese hitch and my new 2014. Was informed that Reese did not have the kit to install in stock and it would be several months before parts would be avail. Ended up installing a B&W Companion hitch as they had all of the necessary parts avail.Re: 9 months and no major issuesCampground host checked the volatage and it is between 108 & 112, which should be OK. We talked to a RV repair tech and he thinks that the washer/dryer might be causing the triped breaker. This is due to the load on the system during the hottest part of the day. He also suggested that we get the units serviced. I think that cleaning the condenser coils and general maintence would take care of the service issue.9 months and no major issuesWe have been living in our 5er for about 9 months now. No major issues, but we are wondering about the black tank? There are several people that are work camping and we have never seen them dump or flush their black tanks? The other issue or concern we are having is our main AC is tripping almost every day, it is a dometic duo therm, is any one else having issues with this unit? Temps behave been pushing 100 degrees every day. Any advise or imput would be appreciated.
