Hadn't thought about but now a reflective vest will be added.Re: surge protectorsFWIW, when we got our first rig, the dealer asked if we would like one and I asked if it was necessary. The reason he gave made sense to me. He asked if I would use the rig without a regulator for the water. Then said the reasoning for the surge protector was along the same thinking. We use a portable one everytime we are in a campground. Hope this helps.Re: Beware FleetwoodFWIW, the first rig I bought was a 26' Fleetwood bunk house travel trailer in 1980. After trading thru several different style rigs, from different manufacturers, we finally came back to Fleetwood and have just taken delivery of a 2016 SouthWind 32 VS. Came back from the "shakedown" trip and love the unit very much. Looking forward to many more travels in it.Re: 2014 Jeep Cherokee Towing et2 wrote: Brake Buddy. Hopefully you have the active II drive train. Thanks for the reply. Yes we do have the Active II drivetrain. Shop called and the unit I chose is a RVi brake unit. Hopefully it doesn't take to long to get it completed.Re: 2014 Jeep Cherokee Towing jwilson32 wrote: Is your Cherokee 2wd or 4wd? I have a 15' Cherokee Sport 2wd and wondering if it can be setup as a toad? I called the dealership and they were not much help... If so, can you point me in the direction as to what I would need to tow it? Sorry, not trying to hijack your thread, I just didn’t want to clutter the forum with another similar post. I would ask another dealer and see what they say. From what I understand, the only Cherokee that can be towed four down is the Active Drive II drive train which is a four wheel drive with a neutral position. You may be able to tow it on a dolly but I am not sure. Sorry I can't help more.2014 Jeep Cherokee TowingWe have a 2014 Cherokee Limited and are getting it setup as a toad. Question I have is, if you have a newer Jeep Cherokee, what are you using for a brake setup on the toad? Thanks.Re: DEF shelf lifeI have a question regarding the DEF. Would the reuse of the DEF bottles harm anything or is it OK? I have two empty from a recent trip and was thinking about\refilling them and keeping them in the basement storage. Thanks.Re: InquiryAppreciate the replies ThanksInquiryIs there a section on the forum to sell extra parts for a Class A. ThanksRe: excited wifeCongradulations on the upcoming retirement. We can sort of relate to the changing MH s We found a "C" that we thought was perfect for the two of us. After a couple of trips, we kind of kicked the idea around about a bigger rig. Stopped at a local dealer to "look at what they have". Wrong thing to do. Found a 30' Class A with 2400 miles on it and plastic on the floor and furniture. Needless to say it's now ours. Getting used to driving it isn't hard. As was suggested prior, take it for some short trips to get used to the way it handles. Good luck and happy camping
