Just talked to her, problem is there is no 110 outlet on the post outside her trailer. Youall have a cool summer.Circut breaker questionMy granddaughter who lives in Las Vegas has a travel trailer with one A/C. she bought another A/C to plug in in the trailer but it tripped the circuit breaker on 30 amp. If she used an adapter and plugged into 50amp would that cause damage to the trailers electrical system.Re: Generator theft. My RV as been stored there since 2005 and this is the first ptoblem at the facility that I am aware of. Someone bumped my mirror a few years ago but didn't do any damage except bumpin it out of adjustment.Generator theft.Has anyone heard of the generator stolen out of a motor home? I had a call from my storage facility yesterday telling me something about the motor home next to mine tampered with and that they checked mine and one of the basement doors was ajar, they said they checked all other doors and main door al all was ok.. I went out today and the lock on the generator door had been pried open. The key wouldn't work, I finally fixed it and locked the door. I'll go back out tomorrow and check further. I checked all the other basement doors also. There were a couple scratches on the lock where they had pried on it. I have had a motor home there since 2005, no problemRe: Garmin GPSI have a Garman 660 and love it. This is my third Garman. Would like to have a 770 but can't justify it.2003 National TradewindsTwo years ago I traded my 203 National Tradewinds for a 2013 Newmar Canyon Star at the FMCA Rally in Indio. I have often wondered who ended up with the Tradewinds. I loved it and regretted. I had to part with it. It had a strange quirk and I told the dealer about it and I may have solved the problem before I turned it in. A couple or three times I would be driving along and attempt to make a left turn and the steering would lock up. I would continue straight and at the next right it usually completer the turn. I was told it was the Mitre box steering and replaced that before I turned it in. I didn't want someone to buy it and something happen. If the dealer left all the records in the Tradewinds the new owner would know, I doubt they did, sometimes dealers can be a little shady. I bought the Tradewinds in 2002 at a show in Sacramento, Ca. Loved it. I also replace the house batteries and tires.Re: Which route BB_TX wrote: Do you just want to avoid the one toll stretch of I-44 from the OK/ MO state line to OKC? Or avoid interstates altogether? There are almost always good US highways somewhat paralleling the interstates that are more scenic but typically slower due to going thru towns with reduced speed limits and traffic lights. But that is the preferred way to travel by many. I was mainly curious because the GPS asked me if I wanted to avoid tolls. Also wondered if it was a more scenic route.Which routeThis topic has been moved to another forum. You can read it here: 29973094Which routeWe have been in Old St Charles, Mo. since Aug. 1 and will be heading home to Ca. by way of Bakersfield . Have always taken the route through Tulsa and Okie city catching I 40. My GPS asks if I wanted to avoid toll roads. I never have and has been no problem but wonder if any of you have taken the route avoiding Toll and if it is better.Re: Diminshed Value ClaimsIf it was repaired satisfactorily be thankful and forget it. Most pre owned vehicles have been damaged at some time. When I traded my last RV in I didn't even think to tell anyone that a basement door were damaged the first week I owned it and a couple times after that.
