Do I need to remove the tailgate? Currently it's in a short bed truck with the tailgate on obviously it down. The second is it a good idea to put down a bed mat? Like the ones they sell at Tractor Supply? Any help would be greatly appreciated heading out tomorrow morning. Thank you
