I'll contact equalizer to confirm though. The reason were keeping the hitch is that we are giving the camper to my uncle who will be parking it on a piece of land as a hunting camp.Re: Starcraft 187tbThanks everyone, we did end up purchasing it. Ended up that they had sold all there 2015 models, so we got a 2016 and were able to pick the fabrics and colors.Downsizing and EqualizerHi everyone, We are downsizing from a 32' trailer that weighs approx 7500lbs dry to a 21' hybrid with a dry weight of 3600lbs. I'm towing with a 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 with the Hemi V8. I purchased an equalizer rated at 10,000lbs for my old trailer. I'm assuming that this is going to be overkill for my new trailer. Am I assuming this is correct, can I still use the 10000lb hitch? I see the sell smaller bars separate but they say only use with the same rated hitch. Or should I just sell this setup and get a smaller WD/Sway hitch. Thanks RobRe: Starcraft 187tbWell I meant to put this in hybrid travel trailer section. Can a mod move this over instead of double posting?Starcraft 187tbHi everyone, I was wondering if anyone has any experience or thoughts on the Starcraft line of hybrid travel trailers? We were at a camper show yesterday and were looking at a new 2015 Starcraft Travel Star 187TB. Looked well put together and had what we were looking for. They had the msrp at $24,453 with the show price of $15,995. Seemed like a good price? Been looking used and used hybrids (5 or so years old) seem to still hold there price at $10000 or so. Any thoughts on starcraft? Thanks Rob
