Oh I see! You now have to pay russians for a bot to book a site. Silly me! https://www.adventure-journal.com/2018/08/campsite-hopelessly-booked-could-be-bots/ https://www.reddit.com/r/camping/comments/2ryxpq/campground_all_booked_i_may_have_a_solution/Reserve America *##*?sWhat happened? It was wonderful last year! This year it just spins and sputters. I have no idea if it is actually working. Problems with double booking sites and campgrounds. Keeps bouncing back to one page over and over, never get to the confirmation page but yet my credit card is charged and the site ends up in my reservation page. Now I have funky charges to my card that i have no idea how to fix. What did I miss? Did they sell out? Why, why, why is it so sucky this year? I am so frustrated! Thanks for letting me vent!Re: water water everywhere but not a drop to drink! The two filters clean the water for it to be continuous. Besides all water is used over and over. I don't see why folks have such a problem with this idea. It's a prototype that can only get better and better as new ideas are added to it.Re: water water everywhere but not a drop to drink!I think it is a great idea. You are using just a 1/2 gallon of water to take a nice, hot, long shower. You don't reuse the 1/2 gallon over and over. You just use it once and then maybe wash your motorcycle or rig with the used water. He also explains what soaps to use and how to add Epsom salt to the mix to separate out the soap from the filter. Here is the revised unit Hour Shower IIRe: Spingtime Camping on Cape Hatteras National SeashoreThanks for the advice! We are pretty flexible with the weather but if it is known to be a bad idea to camp down there that early in the season I knew folks here would know.Spingtime Camping on Cape Hatteras National SeashoreThinking of heading down to the Oregon Inlet Campground in April. I'm guessing things will be quiet there in the off season but not sure if the weather is to unpredictable that time of year. Rain, floods and high winds can be a bummer. Your thoughts and experience would be appreciated.Re: Checking for water system leaks in a Northern LiteOn my Northern Lite all of the plumbing is accessible behind the drawers and cabinets. The out side shower is off a T behind a access port that is in the wall of the dry bath. Not sure if that port is also in the wet bath?Re: Inverter to charge batteryI thought you might enjoy reading this. It was very helpful for me. http://marxrv.com/12volt/12volt.htmRe: How do myou keep your basement dry??When I had the Eagle on my Tundra I popped out the drain plugs in the front of the bed to keep water from pooling. I never had any water intrusion from the sliding hatch doors that you open to reach the tie downs. Even when I put the camper away for the winter that area was exposed and I never had any water or critters find a way in to the camper. If it is raining while you are driving that area may get wet but it never got into the camper. That is a great space to keep your shoes out of the way and to let them dry out when camped. That's been my experience. I loved that little camper!
