I ended up replacing with an Amazon led version.Re: Lance Replacement lens?Opps, it's a 2003, not 2002. I bought it new in 2003 and the Lance brochure for that year shows the same long marker light. Would like to replace it with another "long" one but still can't find one approx. 12"-14" in length.Lance Replacement lens?Anyone know where I can source a replacement cover for this marker light? Apparently my googlefoo isn't up to snuff. Re: Foaming dieselLook up "harpoon mod" on your favorite Ford diesel forum. This is a mod on earlier Fords where you shorten the vent and filler tubes going into the tank and results in faster fill ups. It allows more fuel to enter the tank before the foam backs up into the filler tube and shuts off the pump. Not sure if a similar mod exists on your year of truck but worth looking into. http://www.guzzle7pt3.com/harpoon.phpRe: Need Lance 1130 Truck Camper BumperTry an RV salvage yard...Goggle it. I would spend 20mins on the phone and someone in the salvage biz might have a lead? https://www.rverscorner.com/california.htmlRe: It looks like my truck camper days are over.Wow, so lucky in many respects. Glad you escaped with your life. Looks like a major fire started in the camper, I'm surprised it didn't fully burn. Were there quick responders/motorists on the scene that put the fire out?Re: Let's talk air bags...X2 on HMS Beagle's well said statement. After 20yrs of running this setup (2002 F350 SRW, Lance 845) I don't bother to measure air bag pressure any more. I just inflate to level out so I'm not blinding oncoming traffic with headlights. Unloaded I deflate to around 5psi, best guesstimate. I've got the Firestone Ride-rites with added limit straps, extended helper spring bumps, and factory sway bar...really happy with this set up.Camper basically chopped in half by treeOuch, and they were in the cabover when this happened. Hope this isn't anyone here... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D443ODkegtc&list=WL&index=14Re: Lance lite 845I have a Lance 845 I bought new in 2003...great camper and would buy another for $8.5k if I needed one.Re: TPM deserteagle56 wrote: billtex wrote: I can tell you; having TPM-especially in a SRW -is a game changer. Couldn't agree more. I'm considering a TPM for my rig and Jeep trailer. My concern is that you're adding another failure/air leakage point to the system. Which aftermarket brands/model numbers do you guys use?
