Thanks for the replies. It was 5-6 years ago when I went thru and it was a nightmare, thought I'd lose everything except the trailer hitch.

I 40 in Oklahoma
Will be traveling thru Oklahoma in a few weeks and wondering about the surface condition of I-40 from New Mexico line to Oklahoma City.Haven't been thru OK for a few years and my memory is potholes and worse. Thanks for any info.

I tow with a 2001 Chev 2500 HD - Vortex 6000, and a 2007 Chev 2500 HD - Duramax/Allison. In my opinion, there's no comparison - the Duramax Diesel wins everytime. penokee:)
