Lacy, I am sorry for your loss! My mother died of parkinsons 11 years ago. I admire your strength. My husband wants me to learn to drive our 34' motorhome, I am a chicken! We retire in 4 years and want to see America. Your post makes me want to give it a go! I am glad you have your dog, we have a golden retriever who is getting too old to make it up the steps of the mh. So we haven't been able to go camping as much as we'd like. I know lots of people recommend cabfresh, we bought it, and found fresh mouse poo all around it! I placed bounce fabric softener sheets all over in every drawer, cupboard, the dash, glovebox, etc. So far so good, I'll let you know in the spring if it kept working! :)277Views0likes0CommentsJust bought 2006 Prius, anyone tow one?
We have a georgie boy cruisemaster 34' with ford chassis, looking to get a tow dolly To tow the prius. Just wondering if anyone on here has experience with one? I think It looks pretty low profile,,, don't want the rear bumper dragging on the ground. And looked up what weight we can tow in the gb manual, theres a weird formula we are supposed to do. Are Toyos made in China? Are there any true American made tires anymore? I sure wish the tire manufacturers would treat rv tires with some sort of uv ray block. We will of course use those funny looking tire covers, which by the way look like they've never been used! Thanks for the info,,, yes I went to the michelin website and for our rv it said the xps rib series, which are about $325. Per tire, just seems high for a 16" tire. Still shopping around. What do you think about commercial tires? Are they tougher, more for heavy duty trucks? The data plate in our rig says we need LT235/85R16/E,, strange it requires LT (light truck).353Views0likes0Comments
