I fully and honestly disclosed all issues and it was rewarded with no negotiations. I did voluntarily throw in delivery which is a 400 mile run each direction.Re: Old Fuzion valueI picked a price and must be at good pricepoint. Getting a decent amount of inquiries. Hope to have it sold within a few weeks. After it sells I'll disclose listing/selling price for reference including model. Funny thing is most inquiries are from far away and out of state. One couple is traveling 400 miles tomorrow to view it.Re: 13'5" clearanceI would creep slowly under a questionable overpass and If I touched it would only be the AC. Not going to fly under at 40 or 50MPH and hope for the best. Although it is funny to imagine. When I pick up the camper I will measure while on the truck. Will also hit the truck scales to get total weight. Original question is what JoelC answered. But I will be careful and plan my routes. There is right now just one questionable bridge in Unionpoint GA that I can detour around. Other than that we are open highway. But do plan to go to some areas I will research first. Thanks for the responses.Re: 13'5" clearance ItsyRV wrote: There may be a fudge factor of a couple inches depending on the overpass. Some places the posted clearance could be 6 inches lower than actual height while others could just be 1 inch off. Now, I'm sure you know this but the height listed may not be the actual height when attached to your vehicle. Always verify the actual true height when hooked up unloaded. I will do this. Towing with standard Ram 3500 Dually but no lift kits or anything like that so may be 13'4" overall anyway. Was just thinking RV's are now allowed to be a bit over since top height is the AC unit and cannot damage bridge structure if it touches. And it still should never touch as a bridge height restriction has to have at least several more inches. And the paving thing is another interesting point. Wonder how many overpasses are mislabeled. At least it's only a $1500 mistake. If I misjudge depth running my boat it's more like $10,000. If she still floats afterward.Old Fuzion valueBought our 2008 Fuzion new. Used much over the years. Time to sell but I have no idea what they are worth. There are issues I may or may not correct based on advice here. Would rather let it go to some younger fixer upper guy where the situation makes a big camper affordable to him. List of issues: Graphics are nearly non existent. Needs much love on the outside cosmetically. It's 13 years old. Ramp door is soft. Fine for dirt bikes and such but won't trust it for the golf cart. Needs to be reinforced or replaced. Generator switch inside has a grounded wire so disconnected. Start/Stop is done from genset switch. Gas line to fridge dropped and has a hole worn in it, needs to be replaced. Tires are hardly used by old so may need to be replaced. Misc items will need some TLC but not bad. The good: Solid aluminum frame unit. Interior is still very nice, no odors. Never had any water leaks except the OSB floor in garage. That has been 100% replaced with 3/4" marine plywood. Tigerwood flooring on it now. That is in good shape. Everything operational. Asking for opinions on value as is or all fixed up. I just have no idea. Thanks for any opinions13'5" clearanceWe just bought a new Fuzion 5th wheel that has height listed as 13'5" which is 1" higher than our old one. Will this be an issue at a bridge listed as 13'4" clearance or is there some fudge factor involved. Clearances are usually for trucks and heave equipment that must never come in contact with the bridge. Thoughts?Re: St Pete Mobile RV repair reccomendations ependydad wrote: We got decent work out of RV Parts Mall in Sarasota, FL. Maybe give them a call? Did they give you quotes on work (or close estimates) or was it hourly for the repairs. Trying to call them but line is busy.Re: St Pete Mobile RV repair reccomendationsBill, No offence intended on the semiskilled comment. Get that someone like you is skilled. Just can't pay $300 per hour for a guy and his helper for RV work. I pay $125 per hour for my marine Diesel mechanic and $60 per hour for his helper when he brings one (only when needed). We do building management system installs and only get $65-75 per hour and have fairly high wages. Can't do it myself simply because I don't have the time. Extremly busy at work. Want to pay someone to do it. Can pay $3000 for all the work. Won't pay $5000 plus on an open checkbook. (I know the relacement door cost is on top of all this) Prefer skilled. If someone could do all the work for $3000 agreed upon price and was done in half a day I would just write the check. Good for them if they are that good. But can't pay $150 per hour per guy with no limit and unknown skill level.St Pete Mobile RV repair reccomendationsI have a 2008 Keystone 5th wheel toy hauler RV in need of repair. Tried calling a few but they fix one thing but won't work on another. Need to find someone soon. Needs gas line to fridge repair slider maintenance rear ramp door replaced generator (Onan 5500) tuning Any recommendations would be appreciated. I am also open to hauling and dropping it at any decent shop or facility within a couple hours. Reason I don't just take it to just any shop is many charge $150 per hour for every guy that works on it. Don't know why the RV industry has such high rates for what mostly amounts to semi skilled work. I am not a cheapskate but just cant see paying $150 per hour when "tech" is $15 per hour unskilled guy.Ramp door repairsBeen a while since I have posted anything here. We have a 2008 Fuzion 373 with garage floor rot issues and ramp door issues. The floor is somewhat of a no brainer, meaning just work and materials. The ramp door is going to be more of a challenge. The door was made by Nappanee window which from what I can find is out of business. The issue is water intrusion around hinges that has caused weakness and delamination of the fiberglass skin. What I am trying to find out is how these things were originally constructed. What's inside so to speak. It appears the aluminum extrusions for the perimeter have bolts on the bottom and then maybe a connecting rod 3/4 of the way to the top/end. Any info or pix would be appreciated. Any brand as well. I have a marine outfit who works on my boat that will reconstruct stronger than original but we need some insight before tearing my door apart. Thanks, Mike.
