And I am pretty sure we will be putting the stable loads on. Everyone seems to highly recommend them. Can't wait to head out with the family for some quality time. I'd love to someday spend 6 months to a year out on the road.Arctic Fox 990We found a good deal on a used 2004 Arctic Fox. So now for a truck. The dry weight of the camper is 3400. We are looking at the Chevy Silverado 3500 dually. I want to make sure it is very stable feeling. I had a TT sway on me once & that's not an experience I care to repeat. Any suggestions or comments on the truck. Thanks! Mtaviators wifeRe: Adventurer vs S&SWe will be buying both the camper and truck. Looking at 350's dually. Prefer Chevy/GMs or Dodges. Just found a few Lances that have a bunk that would work great with kids.Adventurer vs S&SHello all. We will be new to truck camping & are very excited. We have found two different campers that we really like 1) 2009 Adventurer 950B. 2) 1998 S&S 11SC. Does anyone have any experience with either of these? We like the amount of storage, sleeping setups (we have 2 children 1 boy, 1 girl). We previously camped with a very small travel trailer. I don't like pulling a trailer & that is one of the pluses of truck camping. We also like the ability to get into places that other RVs can't. We definitely need to stick with a used unit as we are buying the truck too. Any suggestions & comments are greatly appreciated.
