All ActivityMost RecentMost LikesSolutions??? Full Body RV Re-Paint Job, 15 yrs old, its time ???Hi All, It's about time to get a full body re-paint job done on our large 2005 class A. Over the years I have read about getting a full body Re-Paint done in Mexico. It would also stand to reason that getting a full body re-paint job done in a state like Texas or Florida would be a wise choice, as Texas and Florida seem to be have the most activity in high end RV sales. Of course it would also seem to reason that selecting a paint shop that would accommodate our comfortably staying in our rv during this lengthy experience would be a wise choice. So... those of you with direct knowledge on this topic... youall with direct knowledge that have experience with repainting a full body rv paint job... ??? !!! thanks in advance !!!Re: 2005 Camelot, 12V goes on & off, ??? CHANGE OUT INVERTER ???ok... for those whom follow... Thanks for the advice folks! a pic of new one freshly installed below KIB Electronics LR9806CBIP Battery Disconnect Switch .2005 Camelot, 12V goes on & off, ??? CHANGE OUT INVERTER ???Hi All, we have a 2005 Monaco Camelot. The 12V system is going out intermittently (complete loss of 12V power, AC is fine). We are plugged in continuously for many months. When I checked this morning, the 12V was out. Several hours later it healed itself, and turned back on, all by itself. It is on right now. Over the past few weeks, I started to notice that the water pump was turned off, which it does when the power goes out, and then turns back on (the water pump stays off). So my initial reaction is, it is getting worse. TIME TO FIX IT. So, I'm thinking of just changing out the Xantrex RV2012 Inverter/Charger. But, As I have learned over and over, best to get forum advise. So, if changing it out is best, Change it out with what make/model Inverter/Charter (I like to do it myself). So, if no change out, what next ???? If you have knowledge on this topic, please feel free to reply. !!! Thanks In Advance !!!!??? MOLD ??? Damp Area. ??? SOLUTION ???Hi All, We are new to spending time in a damp area, and want to fight the mold issue properly. We are assisting sickly family members in the Pacific NoWest this winter. ??? HELP ??? !!! Thanks in Advance !!!Norcold 1200LRIM, STARTS/STOPS ?????Hi All, The fridge gas burner starts, and then immediately stops. We put a dinosour board in years ago, and we will shortly try to reset the board. Weird, the fridge does not work on AC right now. Any thoughts from you pros? (other than changing it out for a residential) Thanks in advance!Water Heater Replacement PROBLEM!Hi All, It's time to change out this 14 year old Suburban 12 gallon water heater. As you can see in the photo below of the rear of the Suburban Water heater. It appears we are going to have to cut the cinch clamps and replace them with hose clamps. The specific area of concern is the fitting next to the "COLD" sticker (the cold water inlet). What do you all with DIY experience in the area think? Re: Electric Heater lowers Voltage ??? HARMFUL ???before and after below The good news is I looked around and found a plug on a different breaker, and turning the heater on, on a different breaker, did not alter the volt meter reading at all. We would have never known this was happening, except we keep a volt meter plugged into a bathroom plug at all times Electric Heater lowers Voltage ??? HARMFUL ???Hi All, we are full timing and use and electric space heater. This causes a voltage drop (according to the cheap voltage meter plugged into a bathroom outlet). The space we are in has 50amp, 30amp, and two 15amp. We are plugged into 50amp. Of course, we do not want to hurt our RV. So... How do you all pros handle this perceived voltage drop occurring when using an electric space heater? ??? Is this an actual problem ??? Alternative suggestions of using the A/C heat pumps, or LP furnace are obvious, thus not needed. !!! Thanks in Advance !!!ScanGuage D - We should buy it?Hi All, We have a 2005 Diesel RV.
