well we never went in the summer just in the fall and we have not yet run into anyone that wasn't nice or wouldn't help us out.. Yes I hear in the summer there is a lot going on so we just go to Lakewood Camping resort in SC for 2 weeks that has a lot more room and a lot of thing for kids to do.. I have been going to Lakewood since I was 12 years old and I still love it and so does my family .. I guess it comes down to what you like.. Hello everyone , well its that time again where the ghost and monster come out .... :) We are going to Bethpage camp resorts in Urbanna Va. for a Halloween Event ,Oct.18 -20th and we cant wait.. If you are in Va. you might like to check this camp grounds out.. The people there are really nice and so helpful and we just love going there.. The camp sites are so clean and the grounds are well taking care of.. Our grand kids love going here and they are so ready to go again.. I have to say I understand where you are coming from ..We looked and looked at use 5th wheels . One we went in smell like dog and then another one smelled like cats, and then we went in another one and it smelled like someone die in it sorry <<:( ( that is what husband said he was a cop for 32 years ) We kept looking and we found ours the owner had no cats and no dogs and was a clean freak well his wife was>>>>:) and I couldnt believe we found one the only bad thing we saw was the out side needed a good washing and alittle TLC the awning where dry rot and mattresses need to be replace they are old and I need good ones because I have a bad back .. The owner that had it his wife took really great care of the inside of it but the man had a stroke and for the last two years couldnt do much of anything so it was time to sale.. I have to say you have to get your mine set on looking at a lot of campers and even the ones at dealer ships would smelling bad, we looked at private owners and we got one and the prices are a lot different too .. I cleaned the carpet and cleaned it from top to bottom just because i needed to know it was clean.. Thanks Guys , Husband said the tires are ok for right now but will be keeping his eyes on them... We are taking it out again next weekend for a Halloween event that is going on and I hope I can get a new mattress for the sofa not sure if it had a full or queen forgot to ask him...The one that was in there they took out because they said it was not in good shape, that tells me they used it a lot but I was also told the ones on the sofa and in the bedroom are cheap ones ... Hi everyone, We just got this 2004 Mountaineer Montana 298RLS .. It is in great shape no water damage at all!!! It has been seating for two years and it needed a good bath :) and boy did I give it to him :) from top to bottom:) The roof has no leaks at all but does have a few bubbles and was told to leave them a lone as long as there isnt any leaks or rips.. Just need to replace a few things like the awnings THEY ARE DRY ROT and the sofa mattress and bed room mattress .. Not sure what size the sofa mattress is being there isnt one in there any longer.... I was told the bed was a queen but not sure what the size is. Someone told us that must of them in there are like 60 x 75 does that sound right? Does anyone know so we can get new ones? The inside of this 5th wheel looks great, but the mattress need to be replace!!!! We took it out a few weeks ago and did a run with it and we were so happy to see that everything worked great even the heat:) I have to say for the price we got it for was great so we have a few dollars to replace something.. We got it for 7,000.. The owner took care of it but had a stroke and was no longer able to,so we got it.. It also has new tires on it as well.. Anyway if anyone knows the sizes of the mattresses and where we could get new ones with out spending a lot of money.. please let us know.. Thanks :)4.7KViews0likes18Comments
