All ActivityMost RecentMost LikesSolutionsRe: Wheel Bearing Repacking questionI repack the bearings on my 2008 Keystone Sprinter 5th wheel every spring regardless of how many miles I put on it the following year. I have a gooseneck cattle trailer I bought new in 1992 and only greased the bearings once which was last year. That's 26 years, and countless thousands of milesRe: RDS 63 Gallon auxiliary fuel tankThanks everyone. Headed to town to put about 10 gallons in the tank and check for leaks. I know this tank will make our trips more enjoyable and less stressful.Re: 6.7 Diesel fuel mileageWith my 2014 F350 crew cab short bed diesel I get: no trailer, no air condition 16-17 mpg, no trailer with air conditioning 14.3 mpg, 33ft. 5th wheel with air conditioning 9.5-11 mpg.RDS 63 Gallon auxiliary fuel tankJust finished installing a RDS 63 gallon wedge shaped auxiliary fuel tank in my 2014 F350 crew cab short bed diesel pickup. Install went very good. I have arthritis, bad shoulders and joints and still did it in under four hours by myself. My question is: do I need to do any additional venting for this tank or my original 26 gallon truck tank? The RDS tank has a vent on top of the tank. thanks!Re: 07 Paradise Point heating systemOn my rig I open the propane valve, switch the thermostat to furnace. Fan comes on, but no heat. I have a switch on my control panel with the pump that says "gas". I must flip this switch before the propane works the furnace. Everything works and heats fine. You may have a switch located somewhere that you must turn on.Re: tire Blowout RepairThanks for all of the advice. Trekwood RV Parts has everything imaginable you could need for a Keystone RV.. They had the fender skirt and J panel for a total of about $160.00 plus shipping. Still going to contact nearest Keystone dealer and see if they can get the parts for me. I don't trust UPS to ship these items, they might bend them.tire Blowout RepairI have a 2008 Keystone Sprinter Cooper Canyon 5th wheel. On a recent trip I had a tire blowout and it damaged my wheel skirt and the lower aluminum siding on the trailer. Does anyone know where I can get an exact wheel skirt replacement. I see off brands advertised on line, but I want an exact Keystone replacement skirt. Also any idea where I can get an aluminum replacement panel for the lower part of the trailer? It is a tan/brown color.Re: Waco Texas to Davis Mountains State ParkI live in Rochelle, Texas, just north of Brady. I have gone to Ft. Davis both ways, I90 and I10. I prefer the I10 route better. Smoother road, more fuel stops, and less time. Enjoy your trip. Ft. Davis is beautiful and a lot to do in the area.Re: Fresh Water Pump-But No WaterBob, I also blew out the vent line and it is clear. Thanks for the help.Re: Fresh Water Pump-But No WaterLen, I'm thinking that is the problem or something similar to that. I did blow air into the line and it opened it up for a while. My shoulders and back won't let me get under the trailer and check it out, so I'm going to have to take it to the shop.
