He was told the company is out of business and DH decided to go with a new Patriot system. Hope we have better luck with that one.Re: Braking System RecommendationDFord. We too have the light on the dash that indicates when brakes are applied, that's how we know the brakes are not working correctly. We have adjusted the cable many times and still it is not consistent. Either the brakes don't apply when they should or do when they shouldn't. Maybe the cable is rubbing on something it shouldn't. It is easy to set up, but not working correctly. We have no slop with out towbar. We did not do the installation ourselves. At any rate DH has had it with this system since it is not working correctly. Looking at the RVI3,Braking System RecommendationWe flat tow a 2014 CRV with our Class A Encounter. The braking system recommended by our RV repair/installer was a Blue OX Autostop which has not worked for us. It is a cable tied to the car brake pedal and it either keeps the brakes on all the time or not at all. There is no way to adjust it so that it is consistent. We need to replace it. Any recommendations of systems you have been happy with? Thank you.Extended Warranty fir Class AWe are looking at an extended warranties on our Class A and would like any feed back on companies you have experience with (not Good Sam). Any feedback on Wholesale Warranties or America's RV Warranty? Good experiences or bad. Thank youRe: Caravan Tours to AlaskaThanks all for your responses. I usually do all of our planning and reservations well in advance on trips. It looks like about half the tour cost is in campgrounds, meals and events. It something to consider if it is worth the extra cost. Thank you.Caravan Tours to AlaskaDoes anyone on this forum have experience using on of the caravan tours to Alaska? I see on their websites that the cost covers camping fees and some meals, along with some events. If you did a tour like this would you do it again and was it worth it? There has to be some security in having a tail gunner in case you break down. Also, can you take pets along with you? Your experiences please. Thank you.Re: Tifton GeorgiaWe make the trip from Chattanooga, TN at least twice a year to north or central Florida and always plan a stop in South GA for overnight. We always make reservations and have stayed many times at Eagles Roost. Their sites are not well marked, so I wouldn't want to arrive after dark. Both the Tifton KOA and the I-75 (CG/parking lot) would be a good spot. I suspect unless you are able to leave before noon you will not get to Tifton before dark. OUR preference after a drive is a CG to relax in with at least water and electric hook ups.Re: I-10 W from NOLA to HoustonThank you one_strange_texan for your you perfect directions for avoiding I-10 traffic and construction. We followed them yesterday and are now sitting in Galveston on the beach after a very nice and uneventful trip. Thank you.Re: I-10 W from NOLA to HoustonThanks for all your responses. Great information.I-10 W from NOLA to HoustonHas anyone traveled I-10 west from LA to Houston recently? We will be leaving NOLA and taking I-10 to about Winnie and heading south to catch the ferry to Galveston. How is the road and traffic? We heard there was some construction. Thanks for the feedback
