I'm not sure why you are suspecting the fuel filter when the computer is reporting a problem reading both knock sensors. Not that it hurts to replace the fuel filter. I don't know much about engines. Thought maybe the lack of fuel due to a fuel clog caused it to backfire and that is why 2 knock sensor errors came up. But if that isn't likely, that's good to know as well. ** Quick update ** After ordering from Wheeler I got an email that the estimated 5 days to delivery wasn't going to happen due to the part being on back order. (same as you Rick) Which is what every other place on the web is saying. Looks like the part hasn't been made for a number of years. None of my local auto parts stores can get it either so I'm at a loss of where I can find one of these things (the adapter kit). The original filter has 3 connections and is not a removable piece on the end so I definitely need the adapter. The bad thing is my window of opportunity to go pick up my RV is a single day in October so I would like to buy one before then so that doesn't hang me up again.933Views0likes0CommentsRe: Workhorse W24 (8.1L) fuel filter

From what I remember, though, that plus the cost they're asking for the adapter is just about what they cost back in the mid-2000's. On second Edit: OK...this post cost me about $150! LOL I HATE paying more for shipping than the cost of the part, so I added some filters and miscellaneous items to the cart to balance out the shipping charge somewhat. Weird, I know. I saw a few posts about this subject but the links given in those older posts no longer work. My issue is this - I'm having a hard time finding the older 2005 Workhorse W24 chassis (gas 8.1L) fuel filters. Seems like they no longer make them. I'm even having a hard time finder the adapter so that I can use a more common filter that has 1 input and 1 output port (mind has 1 on the input and 2 on the output side). I'm guess that third connection is a return line. ANYWAY, I did come across this adapter and I'm wondering if anyone knows if this thing will work with the 2005 Pace Arrow - W24's. I believe if I had this adapter I could then use a newer 2 connection filter. As cheap as it is I would just buy the thing and try it but because my RV is 800 miles away in storage and when I go back to try to get this thing running correctly I will only have 1 day to do it otherwise I will have to leave it there again. So I need to show up with the right parts. It is held in by one bolt with a washer that hangs over the sensor. Its really easy to change. I did both at the time because the MAF test uses the MAP to cross check. Look here for a picture of it.
