According to that, CB is for IGNITION SWITCH START SOURCE. Which doesn't make sense in a trailer. Not sure if there is connection between trailer and motorhome wiring identification. They all have some type of code on them. Here is the web site: https://www.winnebago.com/Files/Files/Winnebago/Resources/Diagram/Wiring.htm Also, their support line will get the information for you sometimes.Re: New Class C - murphy bed questionWe own a Winnebago View 24D which has a murphy bed. We added a 2" foam topper and the bed still closes fine. It would depend on the model of motorhome you buy though.Re: Moving from 5th Wheel to Sprinter based Class CThank you all for your feedback. It is very helpful. To answer the "why" question. We are looking for something that is easier to drive (is it with a toad versus the truck/trailer?), without the hassle of hooking/unhooking the 5th wheel, something in the 25 foot range could get into more campsites than our truck/trailer, we have not seen any good smaller 5th wheel trailers (layout/quality) in a 25 foot range, some of the features like a built in generator sound good. I agree with the servicing stories - you can find stories about all types. We want to stick with the 25 foot range because we want something more nimble.Moving from 5th Wheel to Sprinter based Class CWe are looking into "downsizing" from our 31 foot 5th wheel / 2500HD diesel set up to a Sprinter based class "C" with a flat towed vehicle. Are there any out there that have made this transition? Wondering about your experience. It is a lot to think about (licensing, insurance, swapping truck for a towed vehicle, towbar/braking solutions, etc.). It sounds like weight will be a bigger factor that current set up because of the limited cargo carrying capacity of these motorhomes?Air conditioner waspsI can’t find anything in the search about this. Has anyone come up with a solution to keep wasps or yellow jackets out of the air conditioner? I found a large nest in mine. I’m thinking about zip tying window screen on the inside of the cover, but don’t want to hinder air flow too much.Re: Tiny Crack in ShowerI used clear Gorilla repair tape to stabilize mine. It is clear like packing tape but thicker.Residential fridge durability? Now that residential fridges have been in trailers a few years, how are they standing up to the riggers of road travel since they are not built to be bouncing around all the time like traditional RV fridges. Thinking about doing the conversion to one but want to make sure it will stand up. I also assume no manufacturer will warranty such a purchase.Re: Attaching screws to aluminum floor joistsCan’t see why that would be a problem. I have done it on mine to attach things to them.Re: TT stepsI see the benefits stated but I would find them difficult to deploy at rest stops when you have a semi next to you. We tend to just climb on our closed steps so they are not taken off by a semi. We’ve had them close numerous times and I don’t like the idea of putting the dirt in my RV. According to the sales people they will be on all trailers in not too many years.Re: Front mount bike rack using tow hooks?I have a front hitch receiver that was made by Bodiak purchased back in 2015. I don't think they are in business any longer, but it seems like a welding shop should be able to fabricate one. It wraps over top of the hooks and a plate is bolted underneath sandwiching the hooks. Here are two pictures of it.
