Now retired with a class A. We found a trailer was the best option as we could leave it at the campsite and then use the tow vehicle to venture off for the day to local attractions, medical emergencies, etc. without having to unhook everything. Do your homework as to where you want to go, how long you will be at specific places and other factors. Eventually you need to decide what will serve you best and with the least amount of concern. Have a good day and enjoy camping and family.Re: Carrying a Scooter on back of MotorhomeThanks for the replies. Always something to think about and consider when rving.Carrying a Scooter on back of MotorhomeI am interested in Carrying an electric scooter/bicycle, think Vespa style. on the back of our motorhome. We are purchasing a 2015 Winnibego Vista 26HE with the Ford F53 chassis. The downward hitch classification is 500 lbs. The scooter weighs about 175 lbs without the batteries. I have purchased a motorcycle carrier which fits on the trailer receiver, but have concerns about safety, potential wobbling, etc. We have been camping for well over 45 years, but usually had a truck and trailer. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks
