Thanks for the info. We don't have to plate our quad in our home province so that alone might be an issue to bring it there. We are wanting to head to Tuscon in Jan . We have friends who are heading to Havasu area and have mentioned numerous times that the drive there quad everywhere , (get groceries, on the streets etc) Are you able to drive your quad like this in the Tuscon area or are you confined to certain areas? We'd be bringing the vehicle ( Smart car ) home with us when we come home . We are hoping to have the deck built on our Volvo HDT and would carry vehicle on that while travelling . Only reason we are thinking of purchasing a vehicle while down in the US is because there is very little selection to chose from in the our area . Know that we will have to pay for tax etc . I don't think we can license it with our prov plates until we have it go thru border crossing etc. I know when we bought a truck in alberta instead of home prov of sask we were given a 24 hour permit to get the truck home and then had to to make an appt within a certain timeframe to have truck inspected. Just wondering if we would be able to put Arizona plates /permit on it and use it until we get back home . We never stayed at the lagoons Rv when we were down in Feb but we rode our bikes thru a couple times. Seemed like a nice rv resort. Talked to a couple people anout the park and no one mentioned anything about theft or having to keep things locked up. Park seemed pretty active at the time . There were lots of long sites . We stayed in rental units next door to the Sand dollar Rv park and walked thru it just about every nite and it seemed like a nice park, some longer pull thru sites on cement and some smaller sites on gravel / dirt. We would like to spend a couple days in Quartzsite on our way to Tucson . Coming out of Vegas which route is the better route 95Ca or Az 93 to I40 and then onto Az 95. We would be pulling a 40FW with an HDT. We went into California couple years ago on 95Ca and it seemed somewhat rough in places and we didn't have an HDT at the time .3.2KViews0likes12Comments
