As a replacement I am going with a Power Max 55 amp power supply and a Blue Sea 12 volt fuse block and lastly a Bayite power meter. All from Amazon.Re: ConverterThanks for the help. Have a new converter on the way. May not be leaving Friday after all.Gotta keep a eye on where Dorian is headed.Re: ConverterConverter is putting out 13.4 volts.Everything that runs on 12 volts works as it should. It's just making that horrible noise. Guess I'll have to get by on the battery for my trip.ConverterElixir power converter is screaming like a banshee, 12 volt alarm I think. Checked it out, still getting 12 volt output from converter. If cut the 115 volt breaker off for the 12 volt system and just use voltage from the battery there is no screaming noise. Any ideas short of replacing the converter? I really don't have time for that, supposed to be leaving out Friday am.Re: James IslandThanks for the information. Just wondering if hitting 526 to 17 was the better route. Going down to Dreher Island for a few days then down to James Island for a few more days. Have never been to Charleston, hope to see the sights and eat some good food.James IslandAny recommendations on the campground at James Island S.C ? Recommendations on route coming down 26?Re: WildlifeYep, some type of rodent.Had a family of flying squirrels living in wired storage building. They ate the sheath off the wires, yet somehow didn't get killed.Re: PollNew, but last year's model.Re: Choosing my first trailerTake a look at lil snoozy.Seen one in person last week, it was different but is very light.Just realized you are the west coast.
