I would hope GM would do the right thing for everybody but instead of waiting for the pump to fail I am doing the retro fit kit next weekend. That is I am installing the CP3 kit and then I don't have to be paranoid about when is it going to die on me. I travel with my family towing our camper and don't want to be on a road trip and have a major breakdown. OUR POLITICIANS WORRY ABOUT POLLUTION TO MUCH. Trees and plants restore our oxygen to the atmosphere, if we quit cutting so many trees wit out replacing them we would balance it out. We are only one country so we dont make a big impact compared to the rest of the world. In other countries they still use and manufacture R12 & R22 Freon for A/C and refrigeration. Has anyone on this forum had their Duramax tow vehicle injector pump to fail from normal use (no programmer on the engine). Thanks guys, I guess it would be a let down to go back to a gas burner cause my truck has been built proofed and it pulls the camper like there is no tomorrow. I am pushing 425 hp with my diesel so it can gain speed on any grade. Well that solves my buying decision, can afford a brand new diesel so I guess a nice used Cummins is in my future.
