Left mine to stew for three weeks on a previous trailer, opened the bathroom door after that time and it was full of flies! Thousands of them. Never again, I dump after every use.
I have used them on three different RV's and have never had a problem as long as each fitting is tested for leaks. I have had to redo the double flare a time or two to correct problems, but once in service, no problems.
